Alright Stone River Fans ...the band has been working overtime to complete the last edits and mixes for our up coming Album. We will soon be posting our release date as well as the location of our CD RELEASE PARTY and some of the up and coming summer shows...our time is at hand. Our new record was recorded at Jusaka studios engineered by Nick Blagona , performed live off the floor and produced by Chris Thorn of Blind melon. We are pleased to announce we have recently confirmed an endorsement from Gibson Guitars and are very proud to be a new member of the Gibson Family. We'd like to especially thank Gibson Canada representative Brad Fillatre (Who's also a great musician) for his support. We have been fiddling with some new guitars and pedals for the past 2 months and can't wait to melt your face off with some triple humbucker overload tones. 

Stone River will be performing during Canadian Music Week at the Cadillac Lounge on Wednesday. We're playing a set of songs from the upcoming record but might sneak one or two from the last record. Tonight, Stone River will be playing 2 sets of good old rock n roll. Select tunes from the first record and brand new songs from the upcoming record will fill the 2 hours with some choice classic covers by the Allman Brothers, Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers and the Rolling Stones. Come get into the holiday spirit and party with us at The Hideout! The evening will kick off with Toronto garage rock band The Black Rainbows. These guys rock hard. If you're in to garage punk. It's a must see. 11:00 -2:00. $5 cover at the door after 10:00.
